Hi! My name is Selena and I am Bake Them Happy. I’ve always enjoyed baking and cooking. Because of this, several years ago a friend asked me to make her wedding cake and cupcakes and that was when Bake Them Happy was born. Many people at the event asked how long I had been baking and also told me that they were the best cupcakes they had ever had. After that, I decided to sell them out of my home. I am grateful to be a registered cottage food law producer here in the state of Minnesota.
10 years later, I’m still baking. 10 years has given me a lot of experience. I have spent some time working at a gluten free bakery, a deli and most recently as a Pastry Chef at a restaurant in Cambridge, MN. I value each of those experiences for the different ways they have stretched me and broadened my experiences. When I’m not baking, I am chauffeuring my kids to their practices, lessons or jobs, singing or playing piano or gardening when it’s warm! I look forward to hearing from you and am available to book cakes or whatever sweet treat your heart or occasion requires.
My Grandpa owned and ran bakeries in Colorado and Nebraska. My cousin shared these newspaper clippings she recently found!
